Taking Care

Many of us forget to do one of the most simplest things in life that no one else can do for us but ourselves.  It will not only create a much stronger you, but a much happier version of yourself which will be reflected in other people from your co-workers to friends to family to unknowns.  When it is ignored we find ourselves becoming tired, overwhelmed, dysfunctional, unhappy, heavy and negative.  And what we put out into the world always comes back to us, doesn't it?

If there was only thing you could do in this world to make it a better place, please take care of yourself!  I see so many people who haven't learned this yet.  It may seem like a catch 22, we ask 'how can putting the attention on myself help the world, shouldn't I be caring for the world instead?'  What we often fail to see is how much space and time is readily available if we take care of ourselves.  We function better with healthier foods, good exercise, a full nights sleep, laughing and smiling.  Your happiness will spread to another person who will feed it to another person who will give it to someone else, and it will continue until eternity.

So, even though this may seem like a trivial thing at times, please don't forget.  Take care of yourself, love yourself, and watch the happiness around you grow.  Life will be so much better for it.
